Thunder in San Francisco 8:36 am 9/12/09 [[Turn down audio volume!]
Thunder awoke San Francisco one morning from uneasy dreams, crashing out of nowhere stirring visions of earthquakes, bombs or worse. It was not raining, only a light drizzle dampened the ground the night before.

This is Cathedral Hill/Western Addition/Japantown area ... No rain, just a light intermittent drizzle, then this comes out of nowhere.

Wow, thanks for the video! I have never heard thunder this loud in my life, and I moved to SF from the Southeast! I thought it was a giant explosion for sure!

That was unlike anything Ive ever experienced in my life. Almost as bad of a feeling watching the video as experiencing it at 8AM on Sat morning w/ a hangover!!! ARGH!(God, I'll get you back for that one).
